Teamwork, enthusiasm, and inclusivity are all key factors in our ethos.Reporting to the Head Chef, you will play a key role in elevating the culinary experience within the Three Blue Ducks Kitchen Team, which provides a diverse range of services, including à la carte dining and events. You will support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, leading the kitchen team, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service. Your culinary expertise and leadership skills will contribute to creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests.Skills & ExperienceAssist the Head Chef in menu planning, development, and execution.Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and in accordance with health and safety regulations.Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory effectively.Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.Assist in cost control and budget management, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.Collaborate with the Head Chef to innovate and implement seasonal menus.Oversee food presentation and plating to ensure consistency and quality.Manage kitchen operations in the Head Chef's absence, making decisions to resolve issues as they arise.QualificationsProven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen.Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and cuisines.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Passion for food and commitment to excellence.If you're ready to take the next step in your culinary career and make your mark at a renowned restaurant, we'd love to hear from you!
