About The Role
We are looking for Senior Backend Software Engineers to build features, design and implement API's, and improve the performance, observability, and reliability of our systems as we rapidly scale our product and organization. You'll design and build a state-of-the-art workflow engine that powers the Clari Revenue Platform. You'll work with truly remarkable colleagues on complex problems at enterprise scale, quality, and reliability.
This is a hybrid opportunity based in Kraków, Poland. Candidates must be based in Krakow or the area of Krakow, Poland.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems across Clari Engineering teamsShape future-proof interfaces that are easy to build against and meet the requirements of client-facing teamsBrainstorm with Product Managers, Designers, Frontend Engineers, and other cross-functional partners to conceptualize and build new features for our growing user baseProduce high-quality results by leading or contributing heavily to large cross-functional projects that have a significant impact on the businessDebug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack, and uplevel the observability and reliability of the overall systemMentor engineers earlier in their technical careers to help them growImprove engineering standards, tooling, and processes
Qualifications
Strong technical background, including 5+ years of experience building impactful large-scale products or systems using Java or a similar object-oriented languageSolid understanding of distributed systems, data stores, data modeling, indexing and associated trade-offsSolid understanding of data processing/data streaming-based capabilities like KafkaSkilled in working across engineering teams in building technical architecture and design alignment, driving decision making, and communicating transparentlyStrong communicator. Explaining complex technical concepts to designers, support, and other engineers is no problem for youBuilt observable systems that track important metrics, investigated and addressed issues with performance, scalability, and maintainability
