– AHP3 – Ongoing Part-Time – working 33.75 hours per week About the Role:The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Social Worker to join their team within the Allied Health Division.As a Senior Social Worker you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality social work services to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Surgery departments.
Your expertise in assessing and addressing the psychosocial needs of patients and their loved ones will be invaluable in ensuring holistic care and facilitating smooth transitions between hospital and community settings.In this position, you will: Utilise your advanced communication and counselling skills to support patients and families navigating complex medical situations.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.Advocate for patients' rights and ensure their voices are heard throughout the healthcare journey.Identify and address barriers to effective service delivery, promoting equitable access to care.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the ongoing development of best practices.
To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
