Service: Port Augusta Hospital and Regional Health Service The Port Augusta Hospital and Regional Health Service is a large regional hospital that provides a wide range of services including emergency, general and surgical, maternity, outpatient, and outreach services. The hospital has 58 beds including flex and monitored beds and provides chemotherapy services and has a Renal Dialysis Unit and a Paediatric Department, both of which are the largest outside of Adelaide.

As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you'll be entrusted with upholding high practice standards, guiding and developing less experienced staff, and supporting the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager in leading your team. Your responsibilities will include:
Collaborate with fellow AN/MUMs and the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager to promote continuity and consistency of care.Assist in implementing practice changes that enhance patient outcomes and service quality.Contribute to key management tasks, including performance reviews, recruitment, staffing, leave and roster management, as well as financial and supply planning.About you: Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold a current practicing certificate.Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experience or currently classified as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife.Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.Experience in the supervision of student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.Please refer to the job pack below for more detailed information on the position, responsibilities, and qualifications.
