The ECT Coordinator is located at the Lyell McEwin Hospital, Mental Health Short Stay Unit (SSU) and works under the supervision of the Nurse Unit Manager and Director for ECT. This position holds responsibility for coordinating the administration preparation of ECT that includes inpatient and outlier services related to NALHN. The role supports the prescribing psychiatrists, inpatient and community mental health teams with the process of ECT, and provides education to patients, families, and clinicians, coordinating and providing appropriate liaison regarding the provision of ECT services, managing flow and triage of patients referred.
