Senior Shift Engineer Leeds
Shift pattern of 4 on 4 off, days and nights, working between the hours of 6am-6pm & 6pm-6am.
£32,000 Base with shift allowance taking total package to £36,800
Brief Senior Shift Engineer needed for a well-known facilities management organisation based in Leeds who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Senior Shift Engineer that takes pride in their work with an in-depth knowledge of working on numerous systems including:
Heating and domestic water servicesGeneral Electrical services such as lighting and powerAir handling unitsLow voltage electrical distribution system and switchgearEmergency standby generating plantFire alarm systems and emergency lightingElectrical control systemsBuilding Management SystemThe successful candidate must come from an Electrical or Mechanical background, although electrical would be preferred.
The successful candidate must be a qualified time-served engineer with post-apprenticeship experience and is Level 3 qualified.

Provide a customer-facing highly responsive maintenance service to the Leeds Oncology WingUndertake a wide range of reactive and planned maintenance tasks and carry these out to a very high standardCarry out maintenance, repairs, testing and inspection of building, mechanical and electrical services, associated systems, plant and equipment in accordance with relevant standards and operational procedures.Carry out training to be able to provide Authorised Person dutiesManage a small shift team consisting of Maintenance Craftspersons and Maintenance AssistantsBe able to maintain, service and repair a wide range of the building services listed below: Heating and domestic water servicesGeneral Electrical services such as lighting and powerAir handling unitsLow voltage electrical distribution system and switchgearEmergency standby generating plantFire alarm systems and emergency lightingElectrical control systemsBuilding Management SystemWhat experience you need to be the successful Senior Shift Engineer: Qualified time-served engineer with post-apprenticeship experienceHealthcare experience desirable but not essentialCross-trade experience advantageousThis really is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Shift Engineer to progress their career.
