Together, we're making a tangible difference in shaping Australia's clean energy future.About the RoleWe're looking for a Senior Regulatory Compliance and Reporting Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory engagement, coordinating information and data submissions across retail and wholesale compliance matters. You'll play a crucial role in building trusted relationships with regulators and embedding effective compliance processes throughout the business.Key responsibilities include:Serving as the primary point of contact for regulatory engagement with a range of regulatory bodies, including the Australian Energy Regulator (AER), the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), and state-based regulators.Building and maintaining strong relationships with regulatory bodies to foster trust and effective collaboration.Leading proactive engagement with regulators to anticipate and address compliance issues, providing strategic insights to minimise risks.Coordinating and consolidating information and data for submission to regulators, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Managing compliance reporting in line with regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.Overseeing responses to recurring and ad hoc regulatory notices from bodies such as the AER, ACCC, and state-based regulators, guiding internal teams on interpretation and preparation.Monitoring regulatory changes and embedding new requirements into the organisation.Maintaining internal compliance documentation and delivering training to ensure organisational readiness.Leading the management of court orders and enforcement undertakings, providing regular updates to senior leadership.Identifying and communicating regulatory insights and industry compliance trends to key stakeholders.How You Can Support the Clean Energy TransitionIf you're passionate about compliance and want to make a difference in Australia's clean energy journey, here's what we're looking for:Strong understanding of the Australian energy sector and regulatory environment (preferred).Proven experience in interpreting complex regulatory requirements and responding effectively.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.Analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.Experience in developing and implementing remediation plans in a highly regulated environment.A degree or tertiary qualification in business or a related field.
