This role is based in Barcaldine, QLD, and will involve overseeing the delivery of high-quality aged care services across multiple regional locations, while leading a team of passionate professionals in the community care sector.Key Responsibilities:Provide leadership and direction to the Community Care Services team, ensuring the delivery of client-centered care in line with Aged Care Quality Standards and NDIS requirements.Coordinate and manage care programs, including the development of care plans, assessments, and the monitoring of service delivery.Build and maintain strong relationships with external healthcare providers, government agencies, and community organizations to support service delivery and continuous improvement.Oversee the recruitment, training, and professional development of staff to ensure high levels of care and operational efficiency.Manage program budgets and funding applications, ensuring financial and service delivery targets are met.Advocate for the team, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and promoting a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Travel regularly within the region to visit clients and support the delivery of services on the ground.Key Requirements:Minimum 5 years of experience in community care, with a strong background in aged care and/or NDIS service delivery.Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a remote team.A Registered Nurse (RN) qualification at a senior level is highly preferred, with experience in managing care coordination, client assessments, and compliance within the Aged Care and NDIS sectors.Familiarity with systems such as Nightingale, My Aged Care, and other relevant tools.A current Queensland class 'C' Driver's Licence is required.Unfurnished housing available in Aramac.Locality allowance of $34 per week, with additional allowances possible.Competitive salary between $115,000 - $120,000 per annum (above award), plus superannuation.A role-based vehicle for regional travel.Why Work with LSA Health?At LSA Health, we are committed to connecting exceptional talent with outstanding opportunities.
