We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Recruitment Consultant (Region / Technical Speciality) to join our Talent Acquisition Team to actively contribute to the ongoing improvement of talent acquisition processes and systems across the business.
Our ideal candidate will be a natural at building and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including team members, senior leaders, hiring managers, Business Partners and agencies.
Key to this role is collaborating to ensure best practice and a consistent approach to recruitment across Snowy Hydro; championing a positive, end to end recruitment process for applicants through timely, respectful communication and transparency.
This is a permanent full time position based at Snowy Hydro's Head Office in Cooma, NSW.
In this role, you will: Manage the full recruitment life cycle for assigned technical roles, from sourcing and screening candidates to interviewing, selection, and onboarding Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to identify and engage qualified candidates, utilising a variety of channels including direct sourcing, social media, job boards, and employee referrals Conduct thorough candidate screening and assessments, ensuring alignment with role requirements and Snowy Hydro's values Facilitate interviews and selection processes, providing guidance and support to hiring managers Manage offer negotiations and onboarding processes, ensuring a positive candidate experience What we're looking for: A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related area Demonstrated experience in a recruitment role, preferably with a focus on technical roles Strong understanding of talent acquisition best practices, including sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels Results-oriented and driven to achieve recruitment targets This is an exceptional chance to drive recruitment success, supporting the growth and development of Snowy Hydro's expanding workforce.
