Capricornia Correctional Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Psychologist. Capricornia Correctional Centre is based in Rockhampton and accommodates male prisoners functioning as a remand, reception, and placement centre.
The Senior Psychologist is responsible for the provision of high-level, specialist mental health assessment and intervention, and provides clinical supervision and leadership to a multidisciplinary team of psychologists and counsellors. The role will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team effectively integrating psychology perspectives with other operational perspectives to affect optimal outcomes for prisoners.
