Psychology & Geriatric Medicine are looking for a Senior Psychologist to join their team. The Psychology Service at QEII Hospital is a small service currently covering Physiotherapy Musculoskeletal Outpatients, and Geriatric Medicine. It is a growing service within the QEII Hospital redevelopment and represents an opportunity for candidates who are passionate about improving and developing psychology services for patients who may otherwise not have access. The role professionally connects with the PAH Psychology Department for peer supervision, professional development or other profession specific requirements or support as requested.

About the Role The purpose of this role is to deliver senior Psychology services within QEII Hospital, aligned with Geriatric Medicine. The role will lead the growth of the psychology service in this area, and focus on clinical assessment, treatment and support of complex presentations within a collaborative multi professional setting .
This includes:
Delivering high quality evidenced based Psychology clinical services to patients/consumers within a highly functioning interprofessional team.Contribution to the advancement of quality Psychology services and optimal patient care, through provision of service development, quality improvement, and clinical education.Monitoring and reporting on work practices and outcomes, including initiating, planning and evaluating relevant quality and research initiatives.Providing supervision and training to less experienced (HP3) clinicians, students and to Allied Health Assistants (AHA's).Find out about the role in more detail and how to apply in the attached Role Description.
