About the role

Laing O'Rourke is searching for an experienced Proposal Manager with construction and professional services tendering experience to join our national multi-sector team.
Defence and Infrastructure (e.g.
Road, Rail and Energy) experience is required.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of contracting models and tendering requirements with the ability to produce high-quality, compelling and compliant submissions within tight time frames.
We are looking for candidates based in Canberra or willing to relocate.

Key responsibilities

Managing major tenders to produce high-quality and compliant submissions

Working collaboratively with a large team of technical and proposal specialists

Reviewing content for completeness and accuracy, and working with Lead Authors and technical and commercial leaders to deliver high quality outputs

Meeting tight and competing deadlines.

About you

Experience in proposal management and/or writing

Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely

Established experience in the defence sector

Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business or similar field will be beneficial
