We have an exciting, fixed term temporary full-time opportunity for you to join our Health Protection & Regulation Branch.Job detailsPosition status: Fixed Term TemporaryPosition type: Full-timeOccupational group: AdministrationClassification: AO6Workplace Location:Job ad reference: QLD/QPHSS615236Closing date: 31-Jan-2025Fortnightly salary: $4651.70 - $4982.80Job duration: Fixed term temporary full time until 27/6/2025The Senior Project Officer – Climate Taskforce, will work closely with the Director OHS to establish, develop and coordinate the Queensland Health Climate Resilience and Sustainability Taskforce (the Taskforce) and support its ongoing work by leading liaison and secretariat activities.The successful personYou will have demonstrated:Ability to lead, implement and manage projects and processes.High level verbal and written communication skills, including preparation and presentation of high-quality documents and advice.Proven ability to develop project plans, produce insightful reports and presentations, to meet client needs and maintain collaborative relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.Highly motivated with flexibility in approach to work and willingness to participate in cross program initiatives to address critical issues as required by management.About usThe Department of Health is responsible for the overall management of the public health system in Queensland.
