Senior Project Officer - South East RegionAn exciting opportunity exists to support our children in care within the South East Region. The Student Protection Team are seeking a temporary backfill for the Education Support Funding Program (ESFP) Senior Project Officer from July 22nd through to December 13th, 2024. This is a Temporary Part-Time position (0.8FTE), 58 hours per fortnight

Your Role: The responsibilities of the role include:
Undertake project planning, analysis, integrate project activities and evaluate the impact of projects and initiatives.Develop, implement and monitor project services in consultation with stakeholders to ensure identified needs are met.Assist in coordinating the development and implementation of policies, practices and procedures aligning with the Education Support Funding Program.Assist in coordinating, organising and promoting the activities identified within the program.Provide secretariat support for project governance groups to ensure effective implementation of project objectives within the established timeframes and allocated budget.Proactively build and maintain positive relationships, including consultation, negotiation and communication with internal and external clients, networks, stakeholders and service providers.About You: Desired skills and knowledge:
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suiteThe ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholdersPrevious experience working within an environment managing highly sensitive and confidential information would be an advantage, along with the skills to support personal wellbeingPlease refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.
