The Reform Office have multiple Full Time, Fixed-Term Temporary opportunities for experienced Project Officers located in Brisbane CBD. Manage reform project activities and contribute to system-level horizon scanning, policy, partnerships, and governance activities to support the delivery of reform agenda.Role duration is currently until 30 June 2025 with the possibility of extension.

The roles will form part of a dynamic hub-and-spoke model of project management and support, providing incumbents with multiple opportunities to manage activities relating to reform partnerships, piloting and scaling models of care, evaluation, policy and/or data analysis, and engagement and stakeholder management.
Your key responsibility as the Principal Project Officer will include:
Undertake project management activities by scoping and initiating project commencement, developing formal project plans, scheduling, supporting documentation, and records and registers. Monitor and report on project progress and implement best practice guidelines to ensure consistent and quality outcomes are achieved on assigned projects. Manage aspects of the development of frameworks, evaluation reports, literature, environmental scans and funding submissions. Participate as an effective team member and work collaboratively with other team members and stakeholder groups to achieve outcomes. Proactively identify and support the management of risks to the project and participate in discussions with key stakeholder on critical issues and risks. Prepare reports, submissions, briefing notes, ministerial correspondence and policy documentation as required. This role requires you to work with limited supervision supporting a variety of different Managers and/or projects. 
The successful person To be successful in this role you will have:
Demonstrated experience in project management, including the ability to scope projects, prepare investment cases, tender documentation and procurement, and development of program/project plans that support the achievement of delivery outcomes and priorities within agreed deadlines and commitments. Well-developed skills and experience in identifying and analysing problems, resolving conflicts, developing and implementing remedial strategies, and exercising initiative and accountability. Demonstrated ability to use high level interpersonal communication, consultation, partnership, and negotiation skills to create a strong client focus and influence the decisions, actions, or perceptions of stakeholders. Knowledge of and ability to apply policy, legislation, standards, guidelines, and frameworks relevant to a healthcare setting; and the ability to rapidly acquire specific technical knowledge and skills relevant to health reform.
