Senior Project Officer

Are you a HR professional looking to expand your skills in HR project work and change management? The Queensland Workers Screening Program is looking for an AO6 Project Officer to assist with the HR and change aspects of a Machinery of Government change.
Some of the work you will deliver as part of this role include:
Supporting a review of organisation structures and establishments and provide advice on workforce management matters including employment/industrial relationsReviewing and developing positions descriptions and managing the job evaluation processSupporting recruitment and selection processesIn addition to HR initiatives, you will be assisting the Organisational Change Manager to deliver key change activities such as:
Contribute to and maintaining relevant project artefacts including the human resource transition plan, Communication and Staff Engagement Plan, and the Training Plan, ensuring compliance with human resource principles and guidelinesImplementation of strategies and actions defined within project artefactsDeliver information and training sessions to stakeholders, including the preparation of materials and presentationsThe Organisational Change Manager will mentor you, and this is an ideal opportunity to expand your skills in change management within a project environment.
