The Department of Treaty, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships, Communities and the Arts is responsible for progressing the Treaty process, delivering services for communities and the Arts, and providing whole-of-government leadership and coordination in policy, program, and service delivery for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Queenslanders.
Your role
In this role, you will:
• Provide initiative and project support to management to ensure the delivery of milestones and outcomes within agreed timeframes.
• Develop and implement initiatives and projects, adhering to frameworks, governance, and recordkeeping requirements to enhance operational outcomes, business improvements and the efficiency of grant processing activities.
• Coordinate and facilitate meetings with Team Leaders, Senior Management and other stakeholders, to progress initiatives and projects.
• Provide operational advice to the Senior management team, including analysis of emerging needs, trends, and service demands, ensuring the division remains responsive and adaptable to changing needs.
• Support the development, coordination and implementation of governance programs, materials and approaches that support the effective delivery of services relevant to the work area.
• As a member of the team, undertake tasks and project work allocated by the managers in a constantly changing work environment to support activations, innovation and efficient delivery.
