Due to exceptional growth and success, the RPS Project Management team are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer with Project Management experience to lead and/or be part of the Blacktown City Council civil works program.
This is a full time permanent position and will be based in NSW, within a marketing leading, high performance team, who specialise in the delivery of large complex projects.
Requirements Strong stakeholder and client management skills an understanding of real estate/property development processes.
Experience managing and training a small team of professionals.
This role requires the ability to train and supervise the team in design management, procurement and superintendency during construction phase.
Experience managing design and approvals stages including managing design consultants/engineers, overseeing land acquisition, obtaining planning approvals (REF or similar), and managing all aspects of utility service authority designs and approval (eg Sydney Water, Electrical, NBN, Telco, Gas etc).
Experience managing the construction stages including tender and engagement of construction contractors, contractor performance management, site management (safety, environmental, quality), all aspects of contract administration etc.
Experience acting as Superintendents Representative (or equivalent) is essential.
Experience working with local government clients is strongly preferred.
Experience working with other government clients may also be considered.
About you Degree qualified - Civil Engineering strongly preferred, or other relevant degree with significant relevant experience may be considered.
At least 7 to 10 years' experience managing roads and drainage projects with a strong preference for experience at a local government level.
'White Card' Construction Safety Induction required.
Ability to travel to different sites across Greater Sydney Metro area.
Drivers licence required.
Can work from either our Sydney CBD or Sydney West (Norwest) office.
