(HEO9) $123,881 to $132,534 plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies Full-time fixed term contract until 31 December 2025 Based in the Integration Management Office (IMO) in the Adelaide CBD About the role We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to contribute to one of the largest changes to higher education in Australia over the past 30 years and help shape the new Adelaide University. You will work for the University of Adelaide and be based in the Integration Management Office (IMO) in the Curriculum Domain. The Domain aims to develop an attainment-based, comprehensive, and contemporary curriculum for Adelaide University through wide collaboration that is underpinned by a sophisticated digital learning management and delivery capability that would enable an enhanced, consistent, and flexible learning experience for students regardless of learning modality.
The Senior Project Manager (Learning Management System and Learning Ecosystem) will be managing the business implementation of the Learning Management System and broader learning technology ecosystem for Adelaide University. The successful candidate will be working with an existing project team to manage the project schedule, timeline, risks and dependencies. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Lead, eight theme leads and the IT Project Lead to collaborate with the IT development team working on the IT aspects of the project. The candidate will also be part of the broader Learning and Teaching Technology leadership group and will have experience in learning technology/LMS implementation projects.
Core Responsibilities Provide leadership, effective management and execution of program deliverables Play a lead role in project management governance structures and forums in support of program activity. Apply and promote a shared IMO project management approach through the use of prescribed systems, templates, reports and document storage. As required, direct, line manage and coordinate IMO staff in support of program activity. Onboard, support and enable subject matter experts as they provide input into program activity. Essential Skills and Experience Postgraduate qualifications (preferably in project management, education or learning technology) and / or extensive relevant experience. Demonstrated experience in leading and executing substantial and complex learning technology projects, involving large numbers of diverse stakeholders, multiple tasks in parallel with competing deadlines and changing priorities, preferably in a Higher Education context. A demonstrated commitment to contributing to and translating strategic business needs, ability to conceptualise problems and implement effective solutions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including capacity to work collaboratively and effectively with extensive and diverse stakeholders at all levels. Excellent negotiation skills and ability to influence managers and staff with tact and diplomacy.
