We valuediversity and inclusion and foster an environment of collaboration,flexibility, and support for our people. The Building Projects Directorate within the InfrastructureDelivery Division provides advisory and management services toassist State government agencies manage the construction,replacement, refurbishment or demolition of buildings, officeaccommodation and government employee housing.If you choose to work with us, you will not only enjoy working inAdelaide's vibrant CBD, you will proudly leave a legacy to beenjoyed by South Australians for generations, through theconstruction of social infrastructure including Hospitals, Schoolsand Police Stations and more.  TheOpportunityThe role will lead in identifying andresolving significant project risks, implementing innovativesolutions, and ensuring technical and commercial excellence throughthe formulation and implementation of project plans and operationalframeworks to deliver a program of works.About You We're looking for multiple experienced project / programmanagement specialists to join our Building Projects Directorateleadership team and oversee a team of project managementprofessionals The roles involve a widerange of activities associated with ensuring successful managementof complex social infrastructure building projects aligned withagency and whole of government strategies, policies andpriorities.In leading the management and delivery of building projects andclient agency programs, these roles will oversees multiple projectmanagement teams who ensure comprehensive building project/programadvice and planning, and undertake a procurement role, includingpreparation of contract documentation, for the client agencies.This includes critical project-related functions such asscheduling, reporting, and financial management.Activities include determining objectives and quality standards,influencing and motivating project teams, overseeing major buildingworks contracts, and administering contract-relatedservices. The successful candidatewill demonstrate:  Experience in leadingand delivering major and/or politically sensitive buildingprojects, including managing significant budgets andcontracts. Experience indeveloping and maintaining strong collaborative relationshipskey internal and external stakeholders. Comprehensiveknowledge of various forms of General Conditions ofContract. This is an excitingopportunity in which you can contribute to the success of ouragency, while getting involved in social infrastructure projectsthat sustain and support growth and maximise the benefit of thegovernment's investments and the community for all SouthAustralians.
