Competitive Salary: Band 7 - Total Remuneration Package from $123,950 - $138,855 per annum commensurate with skills and experience, including 11.5% superannuation
Location: Corporate Centre in Sandringham, with the flexibility to work from home

About the Role: Here at Bayside, we have adopted an exciting four-year capital works program, and are on the lookout for an enthusiastic, driven and community minded Senior Project Manager. You will join our collaborative and supportive Project Services team, to support and deliver Capital Projects in the Bayside Municipality.
You will provide end to end Project Management services on large scale building and infrastructure projects from inception right through to hand over, providing excellent stakeholder management skills.
The Capital Projects you will be delivering are of a high-profile nature and lead the way, being delivered in a collaborative, sustainable and innovative manner. This is an exciting time to be joining the team, where there is plenty to inspire you every day.
You will be responsible for:
Project Delivery -The Senior Project Manager's role is to deliver capital and infrastructure projects through efficient and effective implementation of the Project Management Framework. Project Management -Developing and maintaining an effective plan of all project activities at all times including the management of project interdependencies and constraints. Stakeholder Management -Effectively manage and communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Operational Management - Effective contract management including design, costing and construction issues. General Management - Providing sound technical advice to the broader community supporting customer satisfaction. Key Selection Criteria: To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:
Tertiary qualifications in project management, engineering, construction management or relevant qualification. Extensive experience in the end to end delivery of large and complex built form and infrastructure projects in the Local Government sector. Excellent skills and experience in stakeholder management (internal and external) with a strong ability to collaborate effectively with project teams, project sponsors, community groups and other relevant stakeholders. Mandatory pre-employment requirements: Be willing to undergo and complete a satisfactory criminal history check. Provide or obtain an employment-based Working with Children check.
