Senior Project Manager role within Swinburne UniversityFull time, fixed term (12 months) position at our Hawthorn campusHew 9 + 17% SuperannuationAbout the RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager within the Enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO). The Senior PM will provide consulting services to the Project Sponsor and Project Control Board (PCB), coordinate the project team, vendors, and internal stakeholders to plan the project, draft the business case, and deliver the project. With a strong background in IT, particularly intranet and internet projects, your ability to collaborate, coordinate, and communicate will contribute to effective management of the project team members, including Subject Matter Experts, IT professionals, Enterprise Project Management Office professionals, legal teams, finance teams, and external vendors.This role requires an individual who can solve complex problems, work within a professional project management framework, and unify stakeholders to deliver the project positively.About YouTo be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:Deliver the project as approved by the Business Case.Manage all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk).Work directly with university stakeholders and service partners to define project requirements. Prepare scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, cash flow, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.Identify project delivery resources required.Lead project delivery resources/team providing project guidance and direction to achieve project goals.Execute project documentation governance aligned with ePMO governance and assurance requirements.
