Role description: Due to recent project wins, we are looking to grow our team of skilled Project Managers within the Transport and Infrastructure sectors. This is an opportunity to take responsibility for the management and delivery of medium and large-scale Highways and Civil projects.
Role accountabilities: Lead Arcadis and Joint Venture teams in the delivery of projects to meet client requirements for cost, time and quality; Lead, manage and mentor project teams to achieve outcomes that are both successful and enjoyable for both the client and our team; Implement and manage effective financial and project controls to enable monitoring, management and forecasting as appropriate; Drive project performance, service delivery, technical coordination and commercial outcomes; Lead bids and tenders as required. Qualifications & Experience: First and foremost, you share our passion for improving quality of life. You are a seasoned project management professional with strong industry ties and demonstrated credibility in a consulting environment. You will come to us with:
Extensive project management experience within the Australian transport and infrastructure market including managing engineers, environmental planners, designers and drafters on major projects; Project management of site investigation teams, demonstrating experience with Health and Safety regulations and guidelines; Experience in stakeholder engagement and management associated with Transport for NSW projects; Demonstrated commercial capability, with a clear grasp of project commercial management, contract management and the ongoing assessment of project risk; Proficient in program development and management, with capability in MS Project or Primavera P6; Confidence when representing your employer to clients including the ability to manage challenging interactions and lead negotiations; Relevant tertiary qualifications; Experience in the coordination and delivery of successful multidisciplinary bids and tenders; A focus on building collaborative and influential relationships both internally and externally; The ability to effectively manage project set-up, mobilisation, risk management and change management during project delivery to ensure positive project outcomes.
