Construction Project Manager

About the Role We are looking for a motivated Construction Project Manager to join our Project Management Team.
This role is ideal for someone who has completed tertiary education in Project Management and/or Engineering (Civil or Structural) and has experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
Reporting to the Construction Manager, this permanent, full-time role's duties and responsibilities include:
Lead demolition and civil projects from inception through to handover.Interpret architectural, structural, civil, and demolition drawings and specifications.Coordinate labour resources, procurement and delivery of materials, equipment and plant.Liaise with Architects, Engineers, Technical, Trades and other professionals.Handle invoicing and develop payment schedules for clients and subcontractors.Develop and implement coordinated work programs for project sites.Ensure compliance with building legislation, performance standards, quality, cost controls, and safety standards.Implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.Oversee and maintain subcontractor performance and progress.Skills and Experience Tertiary qualified in civil engineering/project management.Proven work experience in Project Management (5 years minimum).Proven ability to be strategic and translate how to plan and execute projects.Previous experience in cost estimating and managing budgets.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.A current Australian Driver's Licence, White Card (General Industry Induction Card), and Asbestos and Silica Awareness Training.Full working rights in Australia.About DECC DECC specialises in commercial and industrial demolition, civil contracting, environmental services, and remediation.
