About the opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Delivery Manager, Tunnels South, the role of Senior Project Manager will support and assist in the management of all construction related activities relating to scope of works for tunnels, station boxes (with the associated mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, controls, and security related equipment), underground structures for TBM launch and recovery, station buildings, surface works, power supply facilities, train stabling yard, and depot for a new rail network. You will interact frequently with project managers, design engineers, schedulers, project controls, urban planners, rail operations, commercial and contracts personnel, to deliver the construction input to the project, including works where there is interface with the metropolitan and regional networks.
As this role interfaces with a myriad of internal and external stakeholders, you will provide exceptional project management, technical and commercial input, and subject matter expertise during the project's delivery phase, applying industry best practice techniques. Your sound knowledge of the Australian infrastructure construction and design industry, including the various forms of contracting models, with the ability to build and maintain high-level influential relationships across a broad range of stakeholders, will be fundamental to the role's success.
