We're all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As a Senior Project Manager , you will be responsible for managing the delivery of complex and/or high priority business change projects within Australian Retirement Trust.
This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, scope, and to business requirements and quality standards. The role is also responsible for ensuring key stakeholders are engaged and contributing, and the project team is motivated and executing on their tasks and responsibilities effectively.
Day to day, you'll: Provide support and guidance to the project team, ensuring there are clearly defined accountabilities to meet key project milestones and goals. Promote, support, and enable continuous improvement amongst project teams. Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature capabilities for the organization. Manage all aspects of a project, including but not limited to, planning, budgeting/forecasting, communications, resource management, risk assessments and change management. Prepare project estimates, develop financial plans/forecasts, and manage resource requirements and costs against the project budget. This role is available on a 12-month fixed-term basis , with a potential to extend to 30 June 2026. About you

Experience working in Banking and Financial Services (superannuation experience will be highly regarded). Demonstrated regulatory experience (experience working with the ATO is an advantage). Experience writing detailed business cases. Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate confidently. Bring experience with successful planning and delivery of risk and compliance type projects that are highly complex, high cost and/or value in a medium sized corporate environment. Bring strong knowledge and experience of project management methodologies and techniques, with strength in Agile delivery. Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures. Demonstrated experience in forming project teams and implementing ways of working that are fit for purpose to deliver on the project outcomes.
