Senior Project Engineer - Water

Position Overview:
My client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Engineer specializing in water supply systems to join their growing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead key projects in the mining and resources sector, focusing on the design, implementation, and management of water supply infrastructure.
Requirements: 8-10+ years of relevant experience Preferred experience in the EPCM and mining resources sector (particularly Iron Ore) Previous experience managing supply contract packages, including cost, schedule, quality, and contractor oversight Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven interpersonal abilities with experience collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders Responsibilities: Oversee a Water Supply contract package for an iron ore mining site, including management of bores, headworks, pipelines, pump stations, and water storage and distribution systems Conduct tender evaluations and manage contract awards, package management (including cost, schedule, and quality), and contractor oversight Collaborate with engineering and design teams, as well as the site construction team ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE PERMANENT RESIDENCY OR CITIZENSHIP WITHIN AUSTRALIA.
