This project size demands a highly competent and autonomous Senior Project Engineer, who will report directly to the Project Manager. We are after someone strong on NSW TfNSW standards, able to understand project goals and ensure daily activities of staff & contractors align with the plan. You will need to demonstrate being able to manage and oversee a project (or an assigned project section) around the $25M mark. You naturally will need your civil engineering bachelor degree.
ResponsibilitiesSupport the PM through maintaining the contractual schedule & program;Provide input into the project schedule, status of works and reporting requirements;Monitor and report on project progress;Monitor, review and undertake project valuation, maintaining focus on financial outcomes, cost tracking and forecasting reports to ensure project targets are optimised;Play an active role in daily site works management, provide daily support, team supervision and feedback to field operations to produce high-quality project outcomes against company set performance criteria;Supervise the daily contract administration requirements and collaborate in the negotiation and control of subcontractor and supply agreements;Coach and provide leadership to junior engineers and assigned project employees on relevant tasks to assist with their training, including setting individual KPIs, conducting and reviewing individual performance management.To attract the right quality of Senior Project Engineers, our client has put together a fantastic package, with a ginormous base salary, a fully maintained 4WD vehicle with close to unlimited private usage allowed.
