Job Opportunity: Senior Project Engineer (Transmission and Substations) On behalf of my client, a leader in sustainable energy infrastructure, I'm looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to drive the tendering and delivery of major Transmission and Substations projects.
This role offers an exceptional opportunity to take the lead on technical aspects and oversee the successful execution of complex projects across Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Promote a proactive safety culture, lead safety meetings, identify risks, and contribute to HSE documentation.Scope Management: Define and manage project scopes, address changes, and provide technical support to prevent scope creep.Contracts and Procurement: Handle subcontractor management, procurement strategies, vendor assessments, and claim processes.Time and Quality Management: Create and manage project schedules, streamline processes, and uphold quality standards.Risk and Opportunity Management: Lead risk assessments, devise mitigation strategies, and leverage project opportunities.Cost and Integration Management: Track costs, document progress, lead meetings, and ensure precise record-keeping.Stakeholder and Communication Management: Build relationships with clients and vendors, establish clear communication channels, and mentor team communication practices.Ideal Candidate Profile Skills & Qualifications: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Expertise in MS Office and AutoCAD 2D.Technical qualifications in engineering with experience in battery, power generation, and transmission.Familiarity with HSEQ processes, and time and cost management.Experience: 7+ years in project engineering, ideally within Transmission and Substations projects.Comprehensive experience managing all phases of project delivery.Client-focused, collaborative, continuously improving, and decisive.Excellent organizational and leadership skills to develop and guide teams.Why Consider This Opportunity?
