Position OverviewWe wish to complement our existing team with an experienced and energetic Senior Project Engineer to join our growing program of works within the SA Utilities sector. You will be joining an experienced and focused delivery team on a long-term program of works, comprising of earthworks, treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, and concrete structures with mechanical and electrical interfaces.
ResponsibilitiesIn this role you'll be responsible for:
Working with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Supervision, and other project support to manage diverse Utilities projectsDeveloping and managing project schedules, updating production plans, and working to weekly and monthly programsAssisting with the development of contracts for sub-contractors, managing and approvals of variationsOverseeing the ITP's, assisting with the SWMS processManaging QA documentation processes/manuals for submissionContributing to reviews and coordination of testing & commissioning of plant into serviceCommunicating and liaising with the clientQualificationsHow you'll connect to the role:
A degree level qualification in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Structural)Demonstrated previous experience in Project Engineering, working on construction projects in water infrastructure or utilities (preferred but not essential)Knowledge of project financial management, forecasting, procurement, design, and contracts management functionsA solid performer, with professional acumen and exceptional communication skillsAlignment with our values of Respect, Energy & Effort, Attitude & LeadershipAdopting and driving Fulton Hogan's Living Safely CultureOur people share the same set of values that keep us REAL.
