As part of this initiative, Infrastructure NT, the Northern Territory's infrastructure body, undertakes strategic infrastructure planning and development that coordinates and aligns infrastructure needs with economic and population growth, and delivers nationally significant infrastructure projects.The Adelaide River Off-stream Water Storage (AROWS) project, a unique and innovative major water infrastructure project that can deliver complementary outcomes of water availability and environmental sustainability on a scale not seen anywhere else in Australia.The Middle Arm Sustainable Development Precinct (MASDP) project, a unique and innovative major infrastructure project designed to attract industries reflective of the Territory's future economy including critical minerals, renewables, and lower-emissions energy and fuels.To support these significant projects, Infrastructure NT is recruiting experienced Project Engineering professionals.As a Senior Project Engineer (SP2), you will provide expert technical advice, management, and leadership in driving the engineering design process for Darwin's AROWS project or delivering masterplans and staged infrastructure strategies for the MASDP civil and marine works and supporting projects. This is a senior leadership role that will utilize your ability to lead and deliver complex work programs, manage major contracts, develop and maintain collaborative partnerships, and provide critical analysis and advice on the integration of engineering activities into other work streams.As a Project Engineer (SP1), you will be responsible for managing and providing expert technical advice to support the delivery of complex activities, developing and maintaining collaborative partnerships, and providing project and contract management support for the AROWS scheme. Additionally, you will contribute to and/or conduct complex investigations, challenging operational and construction model problems, and recommend solutions.Both positions require a degree qualification in Civil Engineering or a similar field from a recognised tertiary institution, as well as sound experience in civil design, pre-construction documentation development, and construction techniques and practices. You will also need to demonstrate strong project and contract management skills and high-level knowledge and experience coordinating complex, multi-disciplined civil infrastructure projects, with the capacity to adapt to changing priorities. High-level written and oral communication skills, and the ability to prepare design, procurement, and project management documentation are essential.In return, you will receive a competitive remuneration package, inclusive of 11.5% superannuation, 6 weeks' recreational leave, 3 weeks' personal leave, up to 17.5% annual leave allowance, and additional paid leave to cover the Christmas – New Years' Day shut-down.
