Due to sustained growth, we are currently looking to engage an
Associate Civil Engineer
to join our Property and Buildings group in our
Darwin
office.
Our Property and Buildings team is a world-leading management and technical consultancy operating across all sectors.

This role is vital to the ongoing success of our P&B Civil team in Darwin and offers career development opportunities and professional growth.

What you will do:
Work on iconic projects
Work in a high impact, market-facing and civil engineering delivery focused role
Manage ongoing communication and highly effective professional relationships with local clients
Ascertain specifications and evolving client requirements
Proactively determine, manage, monitor and control scope of works
Ensure timely and quality of delivery for project and civil engineering work in support of relevant technical, commercial and regulatory standards – and in alignment with schedules and budgets
Manage effective stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally
Provide sound technical/delivery guidance for the team
Mentor, train and develop the careers of junior engineers
Partner with internal stakeholders and a collaborative, national team in a multidisciplinary engineering setting.
About you:
Bachelor to Masters' level degree (Civil Engineering)
Chartered status with Engineers Australia (desirable)
Excellent expertise in civil engineering and design documentation, including sound working knowledge of relevant Standards and Codes
Solid industry experience on Australian civil engineering projects, ideally in a consulting environment
High level of expertise in effectively delivering multiple, concurrent projects ranging and scale and sector
Sound client facing, business development and account/relationship management skills
Strong project management skills, including managing civil engineering teams
Adept in cross-discipline project delivery and an effective collaborator with all key engineering disciplines
Ideally well-versed tendering requirements and influencing successful outcomes being achieved
Proven ability to lead, train and mentor junior engineers across technical and project delivery aspects
Highly developed customer-focus, leadership, teamwork, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
