Senior Project Assurance Analyst

Talenza has been engaged to source a dynamic, agile, Senior Project Assurance Analyst to join a leading financial services organisation.

The Role

Provide assurance against projects and ensure they are adhering to the Governance and Delivery standards and progressing in alignment with the direction agreed with EPMO & other support partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with improvements to the Governance and Delivery standards, e.g., Project Management Framework and associated collateral.
Review monthly steer-co packs, status reporting, estimations, project updates, committee update review, and other pieces as required.
Assist with the PM Community of Practice as required.

Experience Required:
5+ years of experience within delivery, ideally within medium to large, regulated organisations (Financial Services, Telco, Consulting (Big 4) or FMCG).
Strong hands-on waterfall and agile project delivery experience.
Experience in Project Assurance of Waterfall and Agile projects.
Strong experience with Scrum and/or exposure to Kanban.
Great communications and engagement skills in establishing trust and rapport with stakeholders at all levels, especially Project Managers.
Understanding of the project delivery lifecycle.
Prior background as a business analyst or within testing (advantageous).
Qualifications or equivalent industry experience in Agile and PMBOK, which is highly desirable.

Location: City with office attendance 2 days/week

Salary: $150k - $170k package (inclusive of superannuation)
