The Senior Program Delivery Officer (Domestic and Family Violence) will ensure a high level of community safety through managing the assessment and treatment of offenders incarcerated at dedicated Disrupting Family Violence Program (DFVP) delivery sites. This role also provides advice, recommendations and practice supervision in relation to approved domestic and family violence (DFV) programs at a local level.
QCS currently delivers the agency approved DFVP within various correctional centres and is expanding its delivery to both the Borallon Training and Correctional Centre and Townsville Correctional Centre. The Senior Program Delivery Officer (Domestic and Family Violence) is integral to managing a high-performing team of Program Delivery Officers who will deliver the DFVP within custody.
Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) are seeking motivated professionals to undertake the role of our new Senior Program Delivery Officer (Domestic and Family Violence).
Within this role, you will supervise a team of newly established program facilitators who will co-deliver QCS' endorsed Disrupting Family Violence Program (DFVP) within a custodial environment.
The DFVP is being expanded to deliver across two new sites, namely, the Borallon Training and Correctional Centre and the Townsville Correctional Centre.
The ideal applicant possesses a strong understanding of the drivers of Domestic and Family Violence, demonstrates strong leadership skills where they are able to lead and motivate a team of clinicians, can work within a wider team of stakeholders, and has strong experience in both supervising and delivering offending programs.
