As they surge ahead in a significant growth phase, they are on the lookout for a Senior Production Estimator to join their dynamic team.The Role- Maintain and update pricing for new and existing products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.- Oversee the operation of estimating systems to facilitate smooth and effective processes.- Negotiate contracts with built form suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors to secure optimal terms and quality standards.- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and production work orders in alignment with budgeted build programs.- Ensure that estimating formats and procedures maximize speed and accuracy in the estimation process.- Coordinate Variations, Requests for Information (RFIs), Expressions of Interest (EOIs), and payments as needed.- Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors to inform future allocation decisions and work agreements.Skills Required- 10+ years' experience estimating for a custom/volume home builder.- A trade background is advantageous.- Proficiency in construction processes and details is essential.- Strong computer skills, especially in Excel are required.
