Production Manager

Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Are you a skilled and motivated individual with a passion for ensuring safe and efficient operations in the manufacturing industry? My client is seeking an experienced production specialist to join this well regarded, growing multi-national hydraulic hose & fittings organisation. Your remit is to manage the production process, optimise resources and maintain the highest standards of quality. No shift work. This role is a Monday to Friday role.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Develop and implement production plans to meet production targets and customer demand.Coordinate with various branches and departments such as supply chain, warehouse and quality assurance to ensure smooth production processes.Manage and supervise production staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.Monitor production processes and implement measures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
What you'll need to succeed:Proven experience as a Production Manager/Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.In-depth knowledge of production processes, equipment, and quality standards.Proficiency in using production management software and MS Office applications.Problem-solving, decision-making abilities and organisational skills.
