Senior Product Manager Digital Subscription & Account Experiences

We have an exciting opportunity to join a digital product team managing some of the most well-known media brands across Australia.
Whilst our focus is in the media landscape and building world-class products for our news audience, we take a broader approach to product optimisation by unpacking the ways in which our audience consumes content.
Not limited to news content, we are focused on emerging digital consumption trends, across all content creator and distribution channels, to make sure we are delivering quality journalism in a format that suits our audience needs.
Reporting to the General Manager Cross Network Products, this role is responsible for leading the strategy, delivery and execution of the product strategy and roadmap for our digital subscription & account experiences, which includes the management of our shopfront/paywall & MyAccount products.
The Senior Product Manager, Digital Subscription & Account Experiences will execute the digital product roadmaps across these consumer-focused digital products; driving prioritisation, gathering and validating requirements, collaborating with business stakeholders and staying across consumer and competitor trends.
They will work side by side with product managers across all brands to enhance these experiences particularly in relation to the digital subscription and account management consumer experience, using data and insights to drive meaningful product outcomes that will increase subscriber engagement and create subscription growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:Execute the roadmaps for News Corp Australia's subscription and account management digital products.Ensure the successful delivery, execution and continued optimisation of our shopfront/paywall and MyAccount products to deliver best in class consumer experience, engagement and functionality.Prioritise tasks across these products, taking requests from across the business, measuring them against our key priorities and trafficking the requests into our delivery teams.Collaborate with stakeholders to unpack business problems, provide expertise in product solutions, share insights into audience trends/engagement, and bring them along on the product journey – from ideation to delivery.Maintain the product roadmaps and transparency of priorities, allowing clear and tangible alignment to product and business outcomes, regularly engaging stakeholders on product direction.Use data and qualitative and quantitative insights to drive product decisions and align the business on priorities.Be part of a supportive and collaborative team environment where sharing of ideas, insights and expertise is sought out, to drive the best consumer and business outcomes.Who are you?Experienced in digital product management, creating product roadmaps and working with delivery teams to hit deadlines and achieve desired outcomes.Demonstrated prior experience managing digital products required.Desirable to be trained as a certified Agile Product Owner.You understand the importance of building strong relationships and are known as a trusted digital product expert.You 'get things done'.
You are just as comfortable laying out the product roadmap as you are with ground level execution, working alongside the UX, design and engineers to get into the detail and remove roadblocks.Strong analytical skills.
The ability to build reports, understand the data and most importantly, derive valuable insights from data to guide product decisions.Experience driving complex, cross-functional product initiatives across several dependent teams/platforms that drive high quality outcomes at speed.A champion for the consumer, you are driven to constantly iterate and improve the product experience and listen to your consumers.You are comfortable working with opposing business views and priorities and strive to deliver business needs, without jeopardising the user experience.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.News BenefitsNews Benefits is our way of saying thank you to our people for their valued contribution to News, our audiences, clients and communities.
