We're looking for a Full-Time Product Manager to join our Product team and help support our expanding categories.
This role is based at our head office in Kemps Creek and will report to the Head of Product and Marketing. The ideal candidate will be eager to grow and possess prior experience as a Category/Product Manager.
Remuneration and Benefits: Great Salary Package Yearly Bonus Employee Product Discounts Employee Engagement Events Learning & Development with the Briggs and Stratton Global University Hybrid Working Conditions (equal balance working from home and the office) Free Onsite Gym Free Onsite Parking Flexible Work Arrangements Key Position Requirements are: Executes and manages product line strategy, as well as the justification and prioritization of new product development initiatives for assigned products Manages product development programs within the New Product Development (NPD) Process Collaborates to develop yearly product plans and update technology roadmaps for innovation planning 1-3+ years out Coordinates with marketing to define the Voice of Customer (VoC) and go-to-market strategy for new products or product changes Develops retailer presentations, using market insights and competitor intelligence to influence buyers to range and distribute B&S products Provides product knowledge for sales calls, sales literature/documentation and trade shows Develops and delivers product and business strategy presentations to customers and the trade Maintains and reports out on product line metrics Lead and participates in cost reduction and profit improvement efforts May perform full range of managerial responsibilities which may include but not be limited to: interviewing, hiring, coaching and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; EEO/AA; performance management; department budget Performs other duties as assigned Essential Criteria for this role, you must have: Results - focused with ability to translate stakeholder needs and priorities into actionable plans Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate technical information to diverse groups of people; excellent presentation skills Ability to collaborate and influence within and outside the organization Demonstrated experience in working with an Omni-channel retailer Strong business acumen Demonstrated experience in the ability to build a financial business case and understanding of financial principles including a full product P&L Previous experience in working cross-functionally Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent education and experience Intermediate skills in Microsoft/Google Minimum five years of experience in product management, new product development, or related field. Three years' experience with global markets preferred Ability to Travel to dealers/ stores within NSW, interstate and oversea as required Ability to follow travel requirements imposed by governments and airlines that may require proof of full COVID19 Vaccinations Ability to be flexible to meet the needs of the business due to time zones for meetings with interstate and international business partners Must have full Australian working rights How to Apply: Interested applicants are invited to submit their resume by clicking 'Quick Apply'
