Government - State (Government & Defence) Contract/Temp Seeking an experienced Government Procurement professional to join a team in Perth CBD.
Your new company A government organisation based in Perth CBD is seeking a Government Procurement professional to step into a Senior Procurement and Contract Officer position. This role is being offered on a temporary contract paying a competitive hourly rate, and working full-time hours.
Your new role As the Senior Procurement and Contract Officer, you will be responsible for:
Developing low to high risk contracts, including the preparation of tenders. Supporting internal stakeholders with procurement planning, contract development and contract management activities. Participating in tender briefings and contract negotiations. Facilitating tender evaluations and preparing tender evaluation reports. Assessing contract management outcomes including Key Performance Indicators. What you'll need to succeed In order to be considered:
Advanced procurement experience working in the WA Government sector. Previous experience in ICT procurement would be desirable. Excellent communication skills with confidence in contract negotiations. Advanced written communication skills. What you'll get in return An initial 6-month temporary contract. Full-time hours.
