Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Full timeThe role will focus on the development and subsequent implementation of a procurement strategy for commissioned services predominantly pertaining to alcohol and pharmaceuticals.Operating within three key health corridors, our client's aim is to strengthen the overall capability of the WA primary health care system. Their service model has been established upon an understanding of local health requirements and the subsequent development of appropriate partnerships that facilitate the effective commissioning of specific health care services.DescriptionThe responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to the following:The ability to autonomously prepare, manage and evaluate the tender process, this will include general tender documentation, pricing submissions, negotiations, evaluation and recommendation documents, term and conditions reviews; with the aim of creating foundation/framework contracts with regular service providers.The analysis of existing and the identification of new suppliers particularly service providers; engaging in direct negotiations as required to improve commercial outcomes, performance and/or other measurables.The review and maintenance of the existing contracts through the registry, this will include performance reviews, variations, commercial reviews etc.ProfileThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:Previous experience designing, implementing, and managing an end-to-end procurement process/strategy, ideally pertaining to services.Demonstrated experience within the health industry, or category management experience across pharmaceuticals/alcohol.Ability to demonstrate experience managing negotiations for medium to high risk contracts/projects.Job OfferVariety of employment options to suit different individual situations; permanent, fixed-term contract and temporary.Personalised work from home arrangements; requirement to only be in the office three days per fortnight.Central office location, with public transport options available.Salary packaging options available.To apply online please click the 'Apply' button below.
