What you'll be doing Reporting to the Group Finance Business Partner, as Senior Pricing & Packaging Manager, you will implement tactical and strategic pricing initiatives at Reapit. You will be responsible for developing, optimising, and implementing pricing strategies that drive revenue growth through increased ASP, conversion rates, and retention rates.
Your role will involve deep analysis of existing customer pricing, competitive market dynamics, and the creation of scalable pricing frameworks. You will play a critical role in aligning these strategies with the Chief Product Officer with the broader go-to-market (GTM) approach and ensuring cross-functional coordination to achieve business objectives.
This role requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to work closely with senior leadership and various departments on cross functional projects.
Strategic Planning and Execution:Collaborate with senior leadership to define and implement a comprehensive multi-year pricing & packaging strategy that aligns with Reapit's revenue & product goals.Develop scalable and adaptable pricing frameworks that support different markets, products, and customer segments, creating global alignment.Annual Business Planning:Work closely with the regional finance leaders and GM's to develop and approve pricing inputs to regional business plans that meet financial, pricing, and product framework.Collaborate with regional finance leaders and GM's to create and update pricing rate cards across all products that maximise ASP, conversion rates/market penetration, and customer retention.Market and Customer Analysis:Recommend packaging by geography & customer segment. What products/features should be bundled together and why?Conduct in-depth analysis of existing customer pricing, identifying opportunities for optimisation to enhance revenue and profitability.Monitor and analyse competitive pricing strategies, providing insights to inform strategic pricing decisions.Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive threats, using this information to refine pricing models.Cross-functional Coordination:Drive alignment on pricing with product, marketing, sales, & finance leaders.Create deep relationships with product, sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure cohesive pricing and packaging strategies that support the GTM strategy.Facilitate communication across departments to align pricing strategies with overall business goals and customer needs.Drive discounting decision-making through analysis and insights.Work with sales and deals desk leaders to proactively identify opportunities where pricing can improve deal velocity, increase market penetration, or improve ASP and profitability.Establish a process to evaluate ad-hoc pricing requests for markets where we do not have a standard pricing table and support Sales in a timely manner.Performance Monitoring and Adjustment:Own Pricing KPIs and report periodically to internal Pricing Committee and externally to leadership group on performance vs Plan as a part of the Monthly & Quarterly Business Review Cycle.Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of key pricing strategies, highlighting risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.Track and analyse the performance of implemented pricing strategies, assessing their impact on revenue, margins, and market share.Continuously adjust pricing models based on performance data, market changes, and feedback from stakeholders to optimise outcomes.Ensure transparent and effective communication of pricing strategies and changes across the organisation.Who we're looking for At Reapit, we prioritise hiring individuals who share our values and possess the right attitudes and behaviours for success. 5+ years of experience in pricing strategy, revenue management, or a related field.Proven experience in developing and implementing successful pricing frameworks in a competitive market environment.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with executive level, cross-functional teams.Proficiency in data analysis tools and financial modeling software.Ability to manage multiple projects & priorities, seamlessly moving between strategy & execution.Experience with B2B SaaS/ subscription business model(s) or in a pricing strategy role in Management Consulting is highly preferred.Demonstrated experience with a variety of pricing models and strategies such as SaaS, credit/token, usage-based, and successful track record of driving pricing transformation is highly preferred.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in business, economics, commerce or a quantitative degree is preferred.MBA or a Master's degree in Finance or Economics is a plus.Certifications or training in advanced pricing strategies or financial modeling.What your impact and success looks like As Senior Pricing & Packaging Manager this person will be counted on to:
Lead the development of pricing strategies that address the needs of Reapit's customer base, ensuring alignment with the Global GTM strategy.Continuously seek opportunities to enhance Reapit's pricing models and approach to revenue generation.Collaborate across the business to drive transparency, predictability, and scalability within the pricing framework.Timeline of Impact:Within 1 Month:
Gain a deep understanding of Reapit's current pricing processes and tools, engaging with key stakeholders to understand the broader business context and challenges.Identify immediate priorities for pricing strategy improvements and develop an action plan to address them.Within 3 Months:
Establish strong working relationships with key teams, including Product, Finance, Sales, and Marketing, to ensure alignment on pricing strategies.Begin taking ownership of elements of the pricing strategy, contributing to ongoing pricing reviews and adjustments.Within 6 Months:
Become a key member of the Reapit Revenue Strategy function, driving the development and implementation of pricing strategies that support the company's growth and profitability goals.Demonstrate your ability to influence and lead pricing decisions that positively impact Reapit's market position and financial performance.What's in it for you?
