An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Planning Officer to provide administrative and planning support to the Health Service Planning and Reform projects and activities.
They liaise with internal and external partners on specific activities to provide planning consultancy services and support the development and advancement of health planning policy and processes across the health service.
Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:Undertake health service planning and data analysis activities across the SCHHS under the broad direction of the Manager, including complex planning tasks, research, and environmental scanning activities to inform the development of SCHHS and state-wide service plans.Analyse issues and priorities identified through research and data analysis to develop remedial recommendations and advice supporting the development and review of strategic policy and service planning.Coordinate designated planning responsibilities within a team of high-level specialist staff, undertaking responsibility for projects and activities; monitoring workflow demands and output; contributing to team strategies, procedures and work practices.Remuneration value up to $118,658 p.a., comprising salary rates $61.20 - $65.56 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1)) (part-time position, 64 hrs p.f.).
