About the role
Enerven is excited to be working to deliver a number of large-scale renewable energy projects across Australia.
We have recently extended our renewables portfolio with two new Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in SA.
These projects will support the production of cheaper power and make a significant contribution to South Australia's goal of net zero emissions.
Reporting to our Program Controls Manager and working closely with the site-based project teams, the Senior Planner will provide planning, master scheduling, resource and cost loading, earned value analysis and reporting activities relating to design, procurement and construction.
You will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of these projects.
Day to day you will:
Develop project schedules at both tender phase and project launch phase Liaise with Design Managers, Construction Managers, Procurement and Commercial teams to deliver phase tracking and forecasting of project schedules Work closely with development, delivery, commercial and finance teams to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting of activities across the entire portfolio Conduct the required project schedule analysis (including cost and resource loaded schedules), critical path analysis and schedule risk analysis for the project as a whole and received from contractors and/or third parties.
Analyse deviations from the baseline in the Project Master schedule highlighting bottlenecks/delays and propose corrective actions and report Ensure that schedule related data from vendors, suppliers, engineering and construction contractors of actual projects is provided as feedback into the planning and scheduling systems Assist Project Managers with report interpretation, performance analysis, forward planning, and the development of corrective actions to maximise project delivery outcomes.
Produce accurate and timely reporting to meet both internal and external stakeholders' requirements About you
You will bring solid Project Planning experience, ideally in the Renewables projects space (Battery, Solar and Windfarm).
You have a solutions-focussed and collaborative approach to project planning and are an exceptional communicator, negotiator and influencer.
You are comfortable working across multiple stakeholders, including clients.
Your specific qualifications and experience will include:
A recognized relevant university degree, preferably in Engineering (civil, mechanical or electrical) 12+ years of experience in similar project planning roles on infrastructure projects (prerequisite), especially in the power, utilities and renewables Advanced Primavera skills, specifically cost and resource loading and levelling Understanding of Earned Value Management and Program Progress Measurement methodologies/applications Ability to coordinate & organize multiple sources of schedule inputs/performance data into a master schedule platform and deliver project/program status reports as required.
Ability to perform schedule management on multiple ongoing projects.
Ability and capability to analyse and report against contractor (and other third party) schedule updates received.
Experience with Schedule Quality Checks and understanding of DCMA guidelines Tertiary qualification in Business or Engineering will be highly regarded About us
