About the opportunity: As the Senior Merchandise Sales, you will report to the Branch Manager and focus on expanding and maintaining our client base in the Kojonup region.Your responsibilities will include providing support and expertise to customers, positioning our business as the preferred choice for a diverse customer base, including local growers and producers.You will emphasize quality customer service, serving as the main point of contact for clients regarding product pricing, logistics, availability, and proactively resolving customer concerns.Collaborate with store management, agronomists, and the merchandise sales team to offer guidance and support for enhanced performance.Engage in various activities such as customer service, sales order administration, product replenishment, order preparation for delivery, store merchandising, and providing on-road client services.About You: Successful candidates should have a proven track record in sales or business development roles and excel in establishing and nurturing long-term customer relationships.An agricultural background and familiarity with Animal Health, Crop Chemical, and Fertilizer are beneficial.Demonstrate dedication to exceptional customer service, prompt follow-up on inquiries, and converting prospects into new business while maintaining high service standards for existing customers.Essential requirements include a valid Driver's License and the willingness to be on the road for this role.Possession of a Forklift ticket and medium ridged license is desirable, or the willingness to obtain them.Be prepared to contribute to various aspects of the business such as Sustainability, Finance, Real Estate, Livestock, Wool, and Insurance.Proficiency in computer programs such as MS Excel, Outlook, and SAP is advantageous, with training provided.Strong knowledge of workplace Safety obligations is crucial.What's on offer: Competitive remuneration package.Potential access to incentive programs.A wide range of employee benefits.Fully maintained company vehicle, phone, and laptop provided.Apply today if you are the perfect fit!
