Major Responsibilities: Deliver sustainable revenue growth improving quality of life of patients in ANZ with a goal of 50% of cancer patients receiving best practice cancer treatment. Develop and execute on business strategy to expand patient impact in ANZ. Drive initiatives and workplace culture to maintain employee engagement, development and DE&I targets. Establish initiatives and improvements to drive operational excellence. Drive sales and marketing strategies in conjunction with the ANZ leadership team to drive market leadership and market expansion. Collaborate across the local, regional and global business to drive synergies to achieve business goals. Develop and execute company business strategies. Lead and manage the ANZ management team, including providing strategic direction and guidance, workforce planning direction, ensuring employee productivity and growth and general people management responsibilities. Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement of business strategy and goals, including management of operating costs, increasing revenue and market development activities. Provide strategic advice to regional leadership to provide an accurate view of the market and the company's future direction. Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated and adhered to. Establish and maintain solid relationships with business partners and external stakeholders. Oversee the company's financial performance and business ventures. Delegate responsibilities and supervise the Varian ANZ Business Leadership Team to provide guidance, motivation and drive performance. Act as a public relations representative of the company to strengthen business, government, industry body relationships and build the company profile. Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure the company prospers. Skills, Experience and Requirements: Leadership experience in the Med Tech industry. Experience in a global company. Proven experience as a managing director or similar. Demonstrable experience in developing strategic and business plans. Thorough knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the company. Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance. Familiarity with corporate law and management best practices. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities. Degree qualifications in Business or similar. MBA or Masters qualifications highly regarded. Company Directors qualification highly regarded. Varian is required to comply with all local and applicable regulations that may be associated with vaccine requirements for certain roles.
