About This Opportunity
Our Senior Manager, Total Rewards will lead the development and implementation of rewards and remuneration strategies that align with market practices and support the needs of the University. Our successful candidate will collaborate with various HR teams to design and deliver a rewards framework and strategy that keeps UQ competitive within our industry, and promotes the attraction and retention of high performing talent. This role will also oversee and lead the global mobility team and have responsibility for the management and governance of UQ’s job architecture framework. The role will provide insight into leading global mobility practices to establish sound governance and ensure the University remains attractive to candidates outside Australia. This position is located at our picturesque St Lucia campus .
Our Ideal Candidate
You will have extensive strategic rewards and remuneration management experience, coupled with expertise in designing and delivering transformational reward and benefits programs. You will be a highly adept communicator, with the proven ability to negotiate with and influence various stakeholders within complex environments, and skills in managing and mentoring teams. You will have demonstrated experience in developing and executing rewards and remuneration frameworks coupled with the ability to use metrics, dashboards and insights to identify areas for continuous improvement. Your knowledge of global mobility practices and immigration requirements and legislation will be sound. You will be comfortable managing operational budgets and forecasting to make relevant recommendations, including strong numerical and analytical skills with the aim of measuring effectiveness.

This is a full-time, continuing position. Total remuneration (incl. 17% super) will be negotiated with the preferred candidate.
