About the role. We are currently looking for a 12 month parental leave cover People & Culture Partner to join our team based at our National Support Office in Burnley. As part of the Victoria People and Culture team, you will work in a small but dynamic team providing support, guidance and HR business partnership to our leaders. You will have access to various Centres of Excellence to drive and deliver great people outcomes and solutions for your stakeholder groups. You will be the face of the People team to your customers, providing strategic guidance in ER/IR, talent management, diversity and inclusion initiatives and strategic workforce planning.  Bunnings offers a hybrid, flexible working environment, with the National Support office based on Swan Street in Burnley (just behind Richmond). There will be a regular requirement to travel across our store network in Victoria. What's involved. Partner our leaders on everything people related to achieve their business strategy  Build leadership competency and capability through coaching Execute Strategic talent management Lead cyclical employee life cycle activities  Coach, guide and manage employee relations issues in your area Champion our diversity and inclusion strategy and culture  Provide guidance and ensure compliance with relevant legislative, policy and process requirements  Who we're looking for. You will have a background in HR, with a good understanding around employee relations and experience with the talent lifecycle stages and process. You'll have strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and empower leaders across the business, effectively manage employee performance and mitigate risk. You'll also have a high level of emotional intelligence and resilience; being able to operate effectively in a fast-paced and litigious environment, with the overall aim of promoting a positive workplace culture. You'll need: Tertiary qualification in Law, HR, Business, Commerce, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline Proven experience working in a HR business partner or equivalent role, ideally within a multi-site organisation Sound knowledge of employee relations legislation Experience before the Fair Work Commission conducting conciliations (desirable) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A track record of taking initiative and achieving pragmatic outcomes A current Drivers Licence required We're here to support you.
