Your Team The Risk team support 2 divisions, which are CFS Finance & Fund Services (F& FS). Fund Services is responsible for maintaining, reconciling and valuing the investment assets within the Colonial First State products and ensuring that the accounting and tax view of all funds is correct. Finance is responsible for supporting the needs of all CFS corporate entities including accounting, tax, payroll, procurement and treasury functions.

The role of Senior Manager, F& FS is to have key responsibility to lead a team and embed the Operational & Compliance Risk Management Framework and related processes within F&FS, ensuring appropriate governance and reporting on risks, issues and opportunities.

Your Responsibilities Ensure frameworks and controls are in place and are effective in ensuring the CFS F&FS team adheres to the Group's governance policies and standards, and take corrective actions when non-compliance is identified. Understand the impacts of compliance and the legal aspects surrounding the CFS F&FS business in order to identify and implement the necessary processes and controls to manage these deficiencies. Enhance the awareness of risk and compliance requirements amongst the CFS F&FS business. Partner with and advise Line 2 colleagues to determine and lead out optimal course of action to remediate any significant data integrity issues within the BU/SU. Understand and provide advice on tax and accounting related matters to obtain best member outcome. Lead and coach team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues and incidents, identifying and implementing control improvements and analysis data trends to provide insightful advice. Manage data quality in/maintain various databases and provide senior business leaders with insights. Identify and complete project risk assessments end to end. Your Capability and Experience Risk Mindset: All CFS employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discusses and act on current and future risks. Influencing and consulting skills, the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Knowledge of Operational and Compliance Risk frameworks would be advantageous. Ability to think critically and analytically and use data driven insights to solve problems. BU specific – business commercial aptitude & knowledge is desirable. Strong people leadership skills, including expectation setting, coaching, and performance management. 5-10 years' experience in banking/financial services/other relevant experience, and/or minimum 4+ years' experience in Operational Risk management roles is desirable. Hands on experience with GS007 and able to build & develop the risk control and framework from scratch is highly desirable.
