* ASIC is seeking a full time Senior Manager, Regulatory Insights & Assessment to join their Regulatory Insights & Assessment team (RI&A).

The team Registry & Intelligence is comprised of seven teams – Registry Operations, International, Strategic Planning & Intelligence, Regulatory Insights & Assessment, Criminal Intelligence Unit, the Information & Knowledge Resource Centre and Business Improvement & Innovation.
These teams drive an intelligence led regulatory approach using data informed insights and intelligence.
The teams do this by assessing reports lodged with ASIC, manage information and data flowing into and created by ASIC and lead our international engagement.
The role * Receiving, classifying and assessing reports of alleged misconduct, breach notifications, reports from insolvency practitioners.
* Referring and escalating reports of alleged misconduct, breach notification, reports from insolvency practitioners and similar reports to ASIC's Enforcement and Compliance, Markets or Regulation and Supervision teams.
* Managing communications arising from reports and related matters.
* Leading a team responsible for responding to and actioning reports of misconduct and breach reports made to ASIC.
* Coaching and developing a multi-disciplinary team, managing workflow, ensuring the team's performance meets key performance indicators and providing ongoing learning opportunities.
* Overseeing responses to misconduct and breach reports made to ASIC, adopting a risk-based approach.
* Advising and guiding on the application of law, the availability of criminal, civil and administrative remedies and ASIC's role as a regulator * Leading continuous improvement initiatives and the change management process associated with systems and processes.
* Managing, monitoring and drafting significant correspondence and reports relevant to the management of reports of misconduct received by ASIC.
* Achieving business goals set for you and providing an environment that allows your team to be effective and satisfied with their work while developing their full potential.
About you * A relevant bachelor's degree.
* Experience leading a team in a high-volume environment, providing strategic direction, and coaching for performance.
* Proven strategic and tactical thinker, with excellent problem-solving ability.
* Experience advising on, interpreting and applying legislation, in particular the Corporations Act 2001 and ASIC Act.
* Experience gained in financial services, a regulatory environment, or in corporate and commercial law is desirable.
