As our Senior Manager Performance, Reward and Benefits based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne, your role will be to lead the remuneration, performance, people insights and benefits portfolio within the Culture, Leadership and People Experience team. This role involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that remuneration, performance, benefits and people insights practices align with business objectives, industry benchmarks, and promote employee engagement and retention. This position is responsible for the end-to-end strategic and operational leadership, ensuring these portfolios contribute directly to the delivery of the enterprise, people strategies and supporting our purpose of helping every Australian own their own home.
You'll make an impact by: Leading the development, design and implementation of our organisational wide total reward and benefits strategy.Own and lead the annual performance cycle strategy and execution, ensuring it continues to drive performance and behaviours in line with our strategy.Own and lead the annual remuneration review process ensuring a fair, equitable process is achieved within budget, time frames, compliance parameters, and all change management is delivered effectively.Responsible for leading, implementation and governance of all remunerations plans, incentivising performance in key areas of the enterprise strategy.Proactively identify changes to legislation or internal frameworks that affect the remuneration, performance and/or benefits portfolios, developing action plans, and implementing required changes.Design and support the production of timely reporting insights that highlight key trends, issues and opportunities for leaders to drive meaningful action.Pro-actively review processes to ensure maximum efficiency, simplified, and user-friendly experiences that enable the portfolio to most effectively operate. To succeed in this role, you will have: Extensive experience in a senior performance and reward specialist role, acquiring a subject matter expertise in financial and non-financial benefits (total reward), remuneration framework and process management (including board and executive governance), performance frameworks, and people insights.Experience working in remuneration and or performance within the financial services industry.Experience leading teams/project teams.Strong stakeholder management across a large organisation, with superior engagement and communication skills.Strong business presentation skills (including board/executive paper preparation).Ability to extract meaningful insights from different data sources to build a narrative and guide decision making.
